Goodbye
March 29, 1918 - October 16, 2006
Did you ever think you would have made it to 88 years? I am grateful for the many years God granted you to us. Your life made a significant imprint on me.. I will forever think of you rocking your 'babies' to sleep as I rock my own child. I will remember the taste of your baked macaroni and cheese, and your pineapple upside-down cake, and of course the sweet tea that was always available. I will remember how much you loved and put your trust in Jesus. Thank you for being the best grandmother that you could be.
We bury you tomorrow Muzzie. I am sad that I will no longer arrive at your door and be greeted by your open arms and smiling face. But I rejoice knowing that you are no longer suffering, and you are now at peace. I will forever love you, my only grandmother I ever knew, and I hope by the time I am a grandmother I can be as loving to my grandchildren as you were to yours.
I'll miss you, and I can't wait to see you again.

That is a very touching tribute Cat! I'm so sorry. It seems we all say "so sorry for your loss" but please remember it is a seperation for a time and a season. I truly believe you will see her again! HUGS!!
Very loving tribute, Cat. I am so sorry for your loss. You know, one of the greatest joys of being a Christain is the hope that we have for eternal life in heaven. I know your pain on earth is deep but I too believe with all of my heart and soul that Muzzie will meet you at the gates of heaven one day. Hugs to you and your family during your loss.
Very sweet words, Cat.....
